This is the bible for Southend Fans and almost anything you would want to know about the Shrimpers prior to 1993 is contained within its covers. Unfortunately it is no longer in print and you may need to pay around twice its cover price of £17.95 to get hold of a copy.
Peter Mason is a freelance journalist brought up in Southend and he writes
with style and clarity. Dave Goody is the unofficial club statistician has
provided the previously unrivalled statistical information
